Realtors are Commission Motivated

A non-Realtor member can protect you more than a Realtor can. Ethics are not law and Realtors are NOT held accountable. Buyers Bonuses are not good for the real estate consumer.

My parent's were the victim of a lousy realtor - out for her own gain. She controlled the transaction so as not to share the commission with a buyer's agent. They did not get the highest price being offered.

We sued and - of course -lost in small claims court. We represented ourselves - she had an E&O legal team.

The judge didn't even understand how they control transactions - all within the guidelines of the Real Estate Act.

The only thing E&O insurance is used for is to pay for their defence lawyers. The insurance company would rather throw money at defending a realtor in order to avoid setting any legal precedents.

I have assisted several people with the sale and purchase of real estate WITHOUT A REALTOR and have kept thousands of dollars worth of commission out of their greedy hands.

This industry stinks. Even the few good realtors are victims. The majority of consumers don't even realize they've been ripped off.
